are collected from defeating Enemies, destroying colored blocks or breaking gem veins. Collecting 100 gems in a short span will cause you to achieve the gem high state, increasing the power of your gunboots temporarily.
Large gems are worth 10 G while small gems are worth 2 G.
Gems can be spent for items at the shop.
