Phantoms are enemies that appear in World 2 and World 4 that cannot be stomped on. They are relatively weak only able to take 2 shots, and do not pursue the player at all, instead moves from side to side in a wave like pattern. There is a more dangerous variant with "angry eyes" which pursues the player.
